Arrow 5.1 car security alarm system

5.1 Arrow Clifford Car Alarms

Arrow 5.1 RemoteArrow 5.1 devices are Clifford car alarms that do things differently. With this system there are no interior sensors, as the vehicle is protected by a built-in dual stage shock sensor.

This non insurance system must be installed by an authorised dealer for the warranty to be valid, and also ensures the system works perfectly and does not interfere with other systems built into the car.

Arrow 5.1 supplied and fitted for £399* (see notes below)

Clifford Features

Clifford authorised dealer logoThe Arrow 5.1 has some very useful and well thought-out features.

The device benefits from an amplified antenna, (like all Clifford products) and this means that you will be able to use the remote from a distance away, however this begins to wane if the remote battery needs replacing, or if there are obstacles in the line of sight.

This system also saves vehicle battery power by stepping down the LED status indicator flash. To save battery power 48h after the vehicle is armed the LED flash rate will slow to 50% and after 96h the LED will slow to 25% of the normal rate.

If the siren gives five quick chirps when disarmed then this indicates that the vehicle battery is low. We advise customers to firstly give their vehicle a good 'run' and secondly, if the fault persists, to get their battery performance checked at their local garage.

False Alarm Control Technology (FACT II) prevents annoying repetitive triggers from setting off the alarm, for example thunder or large passing vehicles. If the alarm triggers three times and the same sensor is making those triggers within 60 minutes of each other then, FACT II will ignore or bypass that sensor for 60 minutes. Should the bypassed sensor be triggered within the time-out period then the ignore period starts again for 60 minutes.

Additional Options

Please note there is only 1 auxiliary output so only one extra module can be added and all of these additional functions cost extra.

Clifford Arrow False Trigger Codes

If the alarm has been triggered while armed then on disarming the vehicle three chirps will sound. This is then followed by the status indicator flashing a number of times to indicate what triggered the alarm.

* Extra Parts and Labour will incur a reasonable additional charge as some vehicles require extra time for fitting e.g. Nissan Elgrand adds £80 to any alarm system, built motorhomes may need extra installation time, and door motor fitting is charged extra on a per door basis.
