How to enter a code on a Pandora Valet Button

The Pandora valet button provides a way for owners to override the alarm system with the security code given at the time of installation. This small switch features a three-colour LED (red/orange/green) and a single push button switch. To use the valet switch the alarm must first be disarmed and then a sequence of presses and pauses allows the code to be entered. For example, the table below gives the press sequence and colour response flashes, for a sequence of 2-2-2-2.

Should the wrong input sequence be entered then the end reply will be one long red LED flash and programme mode is not entered. Customers should wait 5 seconds before starting again.

Please note that there is no way of retrieving a security code once lost, as neither installers or manufacturers keep copies for security reasons. Customer should also be aware that if they change their valet code input sequence and have not written it down for safe keeping, then a new alarm system will be required.
